------------------------------------------------------------------------ Revenue Software (v3.17) Users ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There are two updates to the Revenue Software: 1. Replacement of the current .exe file 2. Database update Below are update instructions and a list of changes. The order of the updates does not matter; however, both updates need to be performed. After the update has been completed, the version number will be v3.18. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update 1 - Instructions to replace current .exe file w/ updated .exe file ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Open a web browser software (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer) 2. Go to the following web site: http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/sf/rl/revenuesw0304.asp 3. Right click on the "Revenue Exe Update" link and select "Save Target As" 4. Select the following location: c:\Program Files\Revenue Software\Revenue Software - 2003-04\V3.17 5. Press Save 6. When asked if you want to replace an existing file, select Yes Exe file update is complete. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update 2 - Instructions to update database file (iaslea.mdb) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Open a web browser software (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer) 2. Go to the following web site: http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/sf/rl/revenuesw0304.asp 3. Right click on the "Revenue Database Update" link and select "Open" 4. Press Open 5. Select the appropriate iaslea.mdb file and press Open 6. Message box will appear indicating update completion ------------------------------------------------------------------------ List of Revenue Changes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Revenue Limit data can be exported in regular mode (i.e. Annual) even if Attendance corrections exist. 2. Extraordinary Cost Pool data entry screen allows multiple records for the same NPS. Note: Any Extraordinary Cost Pool data previously entered or imported will be deleted and will need to be re-entered. 3. Corrected data files will only contain corrected data. Separate district and charter corrected attendance files are no longer required. 4. GATE data entry screen allows an unchecked box to be saved and exported. 5. Single digit county codes in export file name are now two digits (i.e. 01).
