Software Patch Release Notes

The attendance software patches (Attendance 
Software - County Logon Supplement 2002-03 
V2.05.exe and Attendance Software 2002-03 
V2.05.exe) contain fixes for the following 
known issues.

  - Program Areas

	* GATE

	    Issue - The number of records displayed on 
                the main screen is incorrect after importing 
                certified data files from multiple periods 
                (i.e. import P2 GATE data file, import Annual 
                GATE data file, number of records displayed 
                on main screen at Annual will be two).

	    Fix - The correct number of records will display
               after import.

	* Attendance Charter School Block Grant 

	    Issue - The Cease Operation question will 
            appear on the printed report during the Annual 
            period if a report was printed during P1 or P2
            without logging off of the software.

	    Fix - The Cease Operation question will
               not display on printed report during
               Annual period if printing from data entry
               screen;  however, the Cease Operation question
               will still display if printing from main menu.

	* Attendance Charter School - Revenue Limit

	    Issue - The Cease Operation question will not 
                appear on the printed report during P1 or P2 
                periods.

	    Fix - The Cease Operation question will
               display on printed report during
               P1 and P2 periods.  The Cease Operation
	       question will not display on printed report
	       during Annual period if printing from data entry
               screen;  however, the Cease Operation question
               will still display if printing from main menu.

	* Attendance Charter School Block Grant COE

	    Issue - The Cease Operation question will not 
                appear on the printed report during P1 or P2 
                periods.

	    Fix - The Cease Operation question will
               display on printed report during
               P1 and P2 periods.  The Cease Operation
               question will not display on printed report
               during Annual period if printing from data entry
               screen;  however, the Cease Operation question
               will still display if printing from main menu.

NOTE:  DISREGARD THE CEASE OPERATION QUESTION FOR ANNUAL 
       PERIOD.  THE QUESTION WILL ALWAYS DEFAULT TO YES 
       AND CAN NOT BE CHANGED.  THE QUESTION WAS REQUIRED 
       DURING P1 AND P2 TO ENSURE THAT THE DAYS OF 
       OPERATION WERE REPORTED FOR ANY CHARTER SCHOOL 
       THAT CLOSED PRIOR TO ANNUAL PERIOD.  THE DAYS OF
       OPERATION ARE ALWAYS REPORTED AT ANNUAL PERIOD.

       THE SOFTWARE PATCHES HAVE V2.05 IN THE 
       FILENAME TO EASE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 
       FIXES.  THE ACTUAL VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE  
       HAS BEEN CHANGED TO V2.07.  THE SOFTWARE WILL
       DISPLAY V2.07 ON THE LOGON AND MAIN SCREENS.

       PREVIOUSLY INPUTTED P2 DATA WILL STILL BE
       CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE'S DATABASE AFTER 
       PATCH HAS BEEN APPLIED AND NO MIGRATION OF
       DATA WILL OCCUR.
