Local educational agencies with eligible sites that received Literacy Coaches and Reading Specialists (LCRS) funds are required to report to the California Department of Education on how funds are being used to employ literacy coaches and reading specialists, how funds are being used to develop and implement school literacy programs, and how expenditures are impacting students’ literacy achievement.
Annual reports are due by September 30 each year, and a final report will be due by spring 2027 and no later than June 30, 2027. If you have any questions regarding this report, please contact the LCRS team at PLIO@cde.ca.gov.
